Basic Power Saw Course

  7. Demonstrate the proper use of a circular saw and techniques that lead to safe, accurate, and straight cutting
  8. Identify circumstances when a reciprocating saw can be useful for cuts
  9. Identify the parts and features of a reciprocating saw and their adjustments
  10. Identify the parts and features of jigsaws and their adjustments
  11. Demonstrate the proper use of a jigsaw and techniques that lead to safe, accurate, and straight, and curved cutting
  12. Identify the parts and features of table saws and their adjustments
  13. Demonstrate the proper use of a table saw and techniques that lead to safe, accurate, and straight rip cuts
  14. Describe blades for different power saws, variations of tooth count and blade materials, and other aspects like blade size or length and thickness
  15. Demonstrate the process of blade changes for various power saws
